JOHN WATERS
John Waters used to be one of, if not, my favourite director of all time. I liked him as a man. I liked the 'honesty' of his work. Celebrities are all, without sounding like too much of an incel, filth as far as I'm concerned. Waters takes this in stride. I liked his films, though, in that I felt so entirely understood when I saw them for the first time. Life is, and you are, ugly -- and that's beautiful.
He's probably most noted for his directing of Pink Flamingos (1972), Hairspray (1988), and Female Trouble (1974), to name a few. He also did Cecil B. Demented, which I feel like was subject to harsh review, even though I quite liked it. Many such cases. Oh! And that one cameo he did in Jackass 2. And also that chipmunks film. OH! And his cameo in The Creep, by thelonelyisland. I stopped liking him very recently. I dunno. Just... Suspicious...
