JOHN WATERS
John Waters is one of, if not, my favourite director of all time. I like him as a man. I like the honesty of his work. Celebrities are all, without sounding like too much of an incel, filth as far as I'm concerned. Waters takes this in stride. I like his films, though, in that I felt so entirely understood when I saw them for the first time. Life is, and you are, ugly.
He's probably most noted for his directing of Pink Flamingos (1972), Hairspray (1988), and Female Trouble (1974), to name a few. He also did Cecil B. Demented, which I feel like was subject to harsh review, even though I quite liked it. Many such cases. Oh! And that one cameo he did in Jackass 2. OH! And his cameo in The Creep, by thelonelyisland. I swear every child of my generation was raised with that damn song.
If porn and filth are worms, Waters is my mama bird - and my mouth is wide open, baby.
